MAAT - Museu de Arte Arquitetura e Tecnologia/ Museum of Art Architecture and Technology ★
One of the trendiest and more modern museums at the moment is the MAAT, the museum of art, architecture, and technology. The building is innovative from the exterior, it has a wavy irregular shape (representing a wave, as it is in front of the river), covered by white shinning tiles that reflect the light of the sun and the colours of the river.
Its construction took almost 5 years, but it was worth the wait, because the exterior is not the only extraordinary thing about this museum. Its interior is just as remarkable as its outdoor. It promotes international artists and projects dedicated to art and architecture and to new modern technology. Another thing about this building is that you can go up to its roof to see the view, and that is one of the main reason why people go there. It also as a cafeteria inside in case you get hungry while seeing the exposition.
